Amendment One is up for the vote today and North Carolinians are expected to be at the polls in record numbers. Seeking to limit equal rights for same-sex couples to marry, the poorly written Amendment will be harmful with unintended consequences.

According to Protect Families,  and many others including President Bill Clinton, – IT WILL HURT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. The amendment reaches into the lives of hundreds of thousands of families across our state.
