“Until the Bitter End”
Today GAY U.S.A. the Movie launched a marriage equality ad , and who better to depict the necessity for equality than Carol and Nan, a featured couple in the film.
Watch the video ad to get a glimpse of their story; Nan and Carol had been together for 38 years, when finally they were able to legally marry in the State of New York. They were married as soon as marriage became legal in July 2011, and Gay U.S.A. the Movie was there to cover the event and pursue their story.
Gay U.S.A. the Movie has covered dozens of states across the country, telling the stories of individuals and families, interviewing politicians, religious and lay leaders, amassing hundreds of hours of film footage for the documentary which filmmaker, Kristina Lapinski hopes to release in September, 2012, in time to impact the US elections and the marriage ballots in parts of the Country.
