GAY  USA the Movie , will hold its premiere of the trailer as a benefit, at Jasons,  Greenbrae, CA : 08/31, Benefit Trailer : GAY USA the Movie, Jason’s, 300 Drakes Landing , 6 PM. Meet Kristina Lapinski the filmmaker at the first screening of the preview to GAY USA the Movie, due for release in Summer, 2012. The event is hosted by Melanie Nathan, Publisher of GAY USA BLOG and a Marin Human Rights Commissioner, Rachel Wahba, co-owner of Olivia Cruises and Resorts, Jan Foster, founder and host of MWSW.

GAY U.S.A. the Movie includes hundred of hours of footage of encounters, interviews and scenes at every spectrum of the equality movement, speaking to unlikely opponents and renowned proponents of LGBT rights. Kristina has extended her reach from liberal to right, extrapolating revealing footage that will serve to open the door to the millions of Americans who are unacquainted with gay rights in America.

What makes this film unique is the message it brings, as it seeks to reconcile the varying perspectives on the issue of equality. The filmmaker fearlessly enters into the world of the opponents to LGBT rights, in her endeavor to break barriers. This is a quest to enlighten America. Those on the fence can be influenced through this documentary. They are the ones who can change the parameters of LGBT acceptance and sway the road to equality.
